Zebronics Transformer Gaming Mouse Review

Zebronics Transformer mouse is a standard budget gaming mouse that mostly feels good but still gives enough room for a lot to be desired though you won’t get those features in a budget mouse. It is a clicky mouse with an ergonomic design so it feels nice with a big palm like mine. There are four dpi modes given with this mouse with the highest dpi being 3200. For those of you who don’t know DPI means dots per pixel and it essentially is sensitivity of the mouse. There are also forward and backward buttons which are a must have for a gaming mouse nowadays. I’m not particularly impressed with the scroll wheels as it feels very light and hollow to use.

As for the RGB it has a seven colours breathing effect that sadly you can’t stop. Overall it’s average at best and you can’t expect too much from it. It comes with long braided cable which increases lifespan and gives the mouse a quality finish.

Pros

  1. The mouse buttons are rather clicky and feel nice.
  2. Ergonomic design which provides a nice grip to the plam.
  3. You can remove the metal plates at the bottom to decrease the weight but that voids the warranty.
  4. Braided cables gives the mouse increased lifespan  .
  5. It’s plug and play and there’s no need for any drivers .
  6. Good for budget gaming and single player games.

Cons

  1. The scroll wheel is meh at best and it feels bad
  2. Not really a fan of the breathing effect of RGB and there’s no way to turn it off which irks me the most.
  3. Not the best mouse for highly competitive games like CS:GO , R6 seige , Dota2 etc,.

Conclusion

Overall the mouse gives a positive experience and an ergonomic design too. Metal plates at the bottom gives it a nice base and you can tweak the DPI to your preference.
